Publisher's Synopsis
Text in German. This anthology is a critical examination of the eventful history of the Salzburg state parliament and thus state politics in the last 150 years since 1861 and 1868. The focus on the state parliament opens up a completely new perspective on the history of the state of Salzburg. Since 1868, the Salzburg state parliament has held its meetings in the Chiemseehof. As the seat of the state parliament, the Chiemseehof is the central place of democratic co-determination in Salzburg. However, the state parliament is also a reflection of social changes and developments, 150 years of socio-political dynamics, which is also expressed in the change in politics. The role played by the state parliament is the subject of this Salzburg parliamentary history.
