So why do we bother to set goals and make plans for our future? Let me share with you how my life was changed when I started to seriously look at how I was spending my time. After reading the book by Rick Warren, The Purpose Driven Life, I saw that God really had a plan for me and that I could live a life that would give me purpose, I started setting goals and planning. I had done some planning before that, but this time I was serious about trusting and believing that God could do much more in my life than I could do on my own. I made a list thinking only about my heart's desire, writing down anything that I could think of that I would like see happen in my life and spending time really evaluating what motivated me.
