Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is a set of chronic inflammatory conditions comprising of Crohn's disease (CD) and Ulcerative colitis (UC) ^''^l UC is an inflammatory disease targeting the large intestine. The disease is chronic but symptoms of urgency diarrhea, with or without mucus and/or blood and sometimes abdominal pain and tenesmus are intermittently exacerbating and remitting^^. The onset can be almost imperceptible but is in rare cases fulminant, requiring immediate surgery. Asymptomatic periods vary from months to years^
