Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Phonography; Or the Writing of Sounds: In Two Parts, Viz; Logography, or Universal Writing of Speech; And Musicography, or Symbolical Writing of Music; With a Short Hand for Both
The favour with which this little work has been received, both by the press and the public, has induced the author to undertake this second edition, SO much improved, revised, and enlarged, that it might more properly be termed a new treatise than a reprint of the first publication, of which little has been preserved beyond the title page and natural divisions of the work.
