Publisher's Synopsis
This philosophical poetic memoir includes the handwritten lyrical poems on the right with typeset words on the left-facing pages. A dedication in his book to Jim Morrison of The Doors illuminates the psychedelic foundation of Richard's rhyming poetry since 1967 when he was 13 years old. Written while studying Immanuel Kant and Jordan Peterson. As Richard was building his websites and YouTube channels he studied the online climate of trolls and sexual harassment. These observations are reflected in Richard's poetry regarding his own similar concerns. Richard is also a musician who plays a variety of instruments under a variety of stage names. Receiving offers to perform for money was tempting... but he concluded that he enjoyed jamming with the blues and rock musicians more than the jazz musicians. Richard shares his enlightenment on the differences between jazz musicians and other types. He also concludes that he will never be a jazz musician or play jazz music.Richard Del Connor is transforming from the 1966 hippie he was into the 2020 book publisher and record producer he has ripened for. Finally able to begin using his cinematography skills again, Richard's books, videos, Shaolin Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan schools are merging into a new self-contained lifestyle.
