Publisher's Synopsis
These papers represent the current trends in experimental gerontology - hopes for a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of the ageing process, and the design of some useful and potential pharmacological interventions against those processes. They explore the effects of various new drugs, micronutrients and traditional medicine on the ageing process, from both basic and clinical perspectives.
