Phaedri Augusti Liberti Fabularum Aesopiarum, Libri Quinque (1838) is a collection of fables written by the Roman poet Phaedrus. The book is divided into five books and contains over 100 fables. Each fable is written in Latin and tells a moral lesson through the use of animal characters. The fables are based on the works of the ancient Greek storyteller Aesop and are known for their simplicity and wit.
