Peter Pinkletink is far too excited to sleep and lies wide awake flicking his tongue as far as it would go, in and out, out and in. "I wonder if my tongue has grown?" Peter wonders as his tongue sticks to the ceiling. It has been a long cold winter but soon it will be time for Peter to sing his love song.
