The present book is the first volume of the bilingual series of anthology, Persian Sugar in English Tea. The translators attempted to gather the living contemporary and modern poetry from western poets, and employed the vast Persian vocabulary which is currently used in both Iranian and Afghan dialects. This respires a cool breeze of short poems and haiku over the subtle vibrations surfing on ocean and land, heaven and earth, life and death, love ... to build a bridge over the mysterious abyss between two languages and nations. This volume contains a separate section for children poetry decorated with illustrations for little kids.
