These cassettes are part of Periscope 2, the second stage of a three-part course for Key Stage 3 French. Its aim is to advance pupils' progress in French in a clear, appealing way through logical explanations of how the language works, using a wide variety of interesting texts and recordings.
Periscope 2 enables pupils to improve their skills in understanding and using French by: reflecting the recommendations of the KS3 Strategy Framework and Scheme of Work; taking a systematic approach to explaining how the language works; and motivating pupils, using texts and ideas that should interest and involve them at a realistic level.
