This study reviews and links together all aspects of research on problems connected with exposure of individuals to carcinogenic agents which may cause cancers in their offspring - or in subsequent generations - either by a transplacental effect from mother to fetus, or by a genetic effect on the germ cells before conception.;It covers exposure analysis in animals, metabolism of carcinogens, molecular biological study of the role of oncogenes, multi-generation animal experiments and human epidemiological studies.
