Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Pen Parables
Peter I. Neefus was the descendant of godly stock - members of the earliest Dutch Reformed Church in America, who had settled on Long Is land. He himself achieved the rare destiny of living upon his ancestral acres throughout his life. The farm which he inherited from his father not only yielded him a fine income, but increased immensely in value. His later life might have been one of easy opulence, but it was his joy to devote it with all his time and means to Christ.
