This fourth set of Cards is designed to provide students with learning experiences mainly for geometry and measurement, along with the opportunity to use statistical displays for recording results of inquiries. Pearson Maths Task Cards Components: Individual and Group Task Cards The front of each card presents the student activities, while the back contains teaching notes which give the concept being developed, the vocabulary to be developed, suggested questions to ask, and suggestions on how to extend the activity. The Task Cards provide a practical activity, while the Activity Sheets on the CD provide a recorded activity around the same concept, or act as recording sheets for the practical activity or a suggested extension activity given on the Task Card. Teachers' Guide Teachers notes are included on the CD along with the Independent Activity Sheets. The guide is linked to the Level 1 Teachers' Guide to provide all the tools to plan a mathematics programme to meet the needs of all students.
