Just over a year ago, Deric enjoyed intermittent visits from a black feral tomcat called Eric, who used the cellar as a refuge from the wife and kids. One day Eric disappeared, but the Huddersfield Examiner reported that the RSPCA had captured a pair of feral cats and three of their kittens - a fourth had escaped. Next morning, in Deric's garden, was a half-grown kitten, black as coal - which is how Nokia joined Deric, his wife Aileen and their two ageing cats, Tigger and Thermal, and enjoyed the adventures which come from sharing your home with a troop of small cats with big personalities!
