'Pastels' is the collection of poetries reflecting different shades, colours of a woman's life; each role she plays throughout her life. 'Pastels' represent her state of mind while she passes through these phases. Sometimes she is an inspiration, sometimes love, sometimes heartbreak while sometimes herself depressed. 'Pastels' is to thank God for creating the woman to colour up this world with different shades. 'Pastels' mean light, soft and delicate shades of colours and I think it is an apt metaphor for a woman; hence the name.
