Publisher's Synopsis
Partnership teaching means teachers working together, pooling experience, knowledge and skills to develop a curriculum responsive to the language needs of all pupils, including those learning English as a second language. This pack aims to help schools manage change in the classroom to extend the learning of all pupils. It contains three 20 minute video programmes accompanied by supporting materials for inservice facilitators and participants. It is aimed at teachers working across the 9-14 years age range and is intended for use in school-based sessions, led by school staff themselves and focused on local needs. The pack should be particularly useful to teachers working in multilingual schools, educational advisors and those working with children with special educational needs.
