Publisher's Synopsis
The fourth in a collection of short stories I have written over the past several years. From my early days of writing poetry and stories in notebooks as a kid, I've always felt that I had a story to tell. But for decades I had abandoned my love of writing until I returned to college. For me writing has become my therapy, an outlet for my frustrations and fears. In this collection, much like the others, I explore the various emotions and events that have affected my life. Through my words, I don't claim to have all the answers to life's mysteries. All I have done is express myself as honestly as I can. I have learned that by releasing my burdens into the ethos, not only do I feel better. But I am telling others they you are not alone. These stories are not in any chronological order or divided by subject matter. Each is laid out so each story can be read individually. I consider all my books nightstand readers. Where in those quiet moments of reflection you can easily read a story then put it down and rest. It is my hope you get as much out of reading these stories, as I did out of writing them.F.D. Thornton
