Publisher's Synopsis
The peace of Luke Kane's valley is broken abruptly when an attempt on his life backfires when Kane's attacker is killed by his Indian friend. Josh Carter former deputy sheriff of Red Rock, but now an outlaw plans to kill Kane with help from a band of lawless men. Carter is determined to remove Kane from the scene and sieze the valley - and Hannah, Kane's wife who had spurned him in earlier years.
