Tel fut le motif de cette impression. Le Recueil imprim� sous le titre de Documenti mla tive alle cor: testa�i0ni insane fm la m ta sede e il govemo francese form� quatre volumes; mais les pi�ces qu'il renferme ne vont que jusqu'au 2 f�vrier 1808, �poque o� le Saint - P�re fut priv� de l'usage de 8011 imprimerie. Depuis ce moment il fut r�duit a faire copier � la main ou imprimer, comme on put, les documens isol�s mais, pour �viter la fraude il eut soin de signer chaque exemplaire.
