Pop the Bubbles was written during a pandemic when the author thought of how anxious and confused small children may have been feeling about the world around them. They were forced to wear a mask, remain home, were no longer allowed to play with others, or attend school in person. The book tells the story of a young bunny who goes for a walk in the forest and helps others overcome illness by seeking help from a friend. Who do you think is the hero here? The bunny or the frog? Who does the frog represent? The story is intended to inspire discussions with children regarding God and the belief that he can do all things if you believe in him, even during a pandemic.
