Publisher's Synopsis
The circus is visiting Heybrook Thomas and PC Snap has the dubious honour of having to police it for the day with Louie, his trusty dog. In between dealing with lost children and fraught parents, he finds himself unwittingly thrust into the limelight of the big top and closer to a lion than he could ever have imagined or desired. That night, he has to confront the lion in very different circumstances and use all his wits to protect those he holds dearest, with a little help from some friends!
