Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Oversight of the Legal Services Corporation, 1984: Hearing Before the Committee on Labor and Human Resources, United States Senate, Ninety-Eighth Congress, Second Session
I believe that the allegations against the National Clients' Coun cil are serious, and I would have preferred to have covered them during today's hearing, but I understand that the Corporation has requested that we not ask any questions about the council until the current defunding procedures against that organization have been completed. I intend to respect their request.
