Publisher's Synopsis
"During the summer of 2005, my oldest son and I went to Boy Scout Resident Camp at Rotary Scout Reservation with our Boy Scout Troop. It was the first of many years that he and I would spend at Rotary Scout Reservation together. That first summer, I chronicled our experience at camp in a journal I kept. My oldest son had just crossed over to Boy Scouts from Cub Scouts a few months earlier. He was eleven years old. Although I had been his Cub Scout Leader for four years, I was a novice Boy Scout Leader and did not know what to expect at Summer Camp. This book is the text of the journal I kept that week. It follows the journey that Scouting allowed us to experience together. The journal describes what we did together each day, what I experienced and what my son experienced. Most importantly, by the end of the week my son and I grew closer together."
