In this unpretentious little work we will try to find and to appreciate the wonders and the beauties of the material universe as the temporal abode of man. The form in which I present these facts and theories, which are a perennial source of faith, hope and charity to me, is, perhaps, the only apology I can offer the public for publishing what is already known.
