Duryee, Et Al., Henry A. Wells Patent; Same Vs. Same, Alva B. Taylor Patent; Same Vs. Same, Lansing E. Hopkins Patent
The complainant is 'assignee of a patent granted to Henry A. Wells, On the 25th of April, 1816, for an improvement in the machinery for making hat-bodies, and in the process Of' their manufacture.
This patent was surrendered by the owners in 1856, and re issued in two separate and distinct patents, one fer the im proved machine and the other for the process. In 1860 these patents were extended for a term of seven years, and after ward, in December, 1860, they were again surrendered and re is'sued, with what were alleged to be amended Specifications.
