"One World" is an international programme in four levels for the teaching of English as a foreign language to students at the junior secondary level. Levels 1 and 2 cover the Council of Europe's "Waystage" and levels 3 and 4 encompass the Cambridge Preliminary English Test and on towards the Cambridge First Certificate in English or equivalent examinations.;The course pays particular attention to the interests of this age group and draws on a variety of topics from across the general secondary school curriculum. This set of cassettes accompanies coursebooks at level 1, where a group of teenagers from Europe take part in a TV general knowledge competition in the UK.;There are also practice books with exercises and homework and teacher's books, which include reproduction of student's coursebooks and answer keys.
