The kind of pride a man takes or enjoys in his own success is felt also, per haps at times in a slightly modified manner, in the success of his offspring, his brother or of any member of his im mediate family.
Carried still further the pride arising from the knowl edge that one's locality, one's town, one's city, one's county, or one's state, has done well its part in producing men of attainments and all around solidity is a worthy one and must be shared by all normally minded individuals every where.
