How can doing one single pushup change your life? That's what happened to Bradley Bertoniere on November 21, 2018. Being a new father to a beautiful nine month old he found himself staring into the mirror and wondering how he had gotten so fat and weak. He took a shower that morning and a lightning bolt strike of an epiphany hit him. An accumulation of several personal development books that he read combined to form a singularity in his brain. The idea was brilliant. He got out of the shower and got down on the ground and completed one pushup and one crunch. That was it. The smallest of actions that was seemingly insignificant. But he knew that morning he had just changed his life forever. The next morning he completed two pushups and two crunches. On November 23, 2018 he completed three pushups and three crunches. Now fast forward to present day Bradley has worked out every day for almost five years. In the process he has built the life of his dreams. Now he is on a mission to help others build the life of theirs.
The book One Single Pushup is organized as a personal development journey for the reader. Broken up into 5 sections including "Getting Started", "Mind", "Body", "Soul", and "Putting It All Together". The reader is taken on a journey infused with stories of Bradley's journey of personal development. Included are worksheets so that the reader can analyze and think about their own personal situation and start to apply the success framework provided in the book to their unique life.
You can change your life and lift up your mind, body, and soul. All it takes is learning how to get better, believing you can get better, taking action, tracking that action, being consistent, and being patient. The aggregation of marginal gains takes over and your life becomes unrecognizable.
