One Little Light Bug is a children's picture book about one lonely lightning bug who finds himself almost all alone in the dark with only his sense of caution and his awesome light power. He avoids a bug zapper, dodges a frog, gets a drink and finally meets another lightning bug. The Little Light Bug and his new girlfriend are happy they found each other and fly off together to make a new home. The book includes three bonus pages that reinforce the main points of the book. One page titled "Bright Ideas" reinforces the three main points of the book, caution, safety and friendship. A second page, "Amazing Light Bugs," includes science facts about these incredible beetles. The third bonus page titled "Draw for Life" includes the first original sketches of the Light Bug plus a look into the basic shapes behind the Light bug's design to encourage drawing and creativity.
