Publisher's Synopsis
Most people are familiar with Darwin's book, "On the Origin of the Species." His hypotheses have led to widespread speculation regarding the origin of the universe as well as life. After nearly two-centuries, what was written as possible, is now accepted as factual. Is it though? Is man no more than a tree or a frog? Are amoeba the origin of mankind? Are apes truly the primal ancestors of mankind? Many believe so, but has the world been misled?Rational people want more than what evolution theory offers. Many want to have hope! There is no hope in evolution, but many have confidence in it. Confident of what? That they now exist but will die? People want the truth. Truth certainly includes everything that can be sensed, but are the five senses all there is? Many Christians claim to have experienced God. Is there more to truth than what is seen or measured? Truth is comprehended by the mind. The gamble is too great not to be certain. Most have been persuaded that evolution is truth. The theme throughout the pages of this book is to question the readers' certainty. Have most been persuaded wrongly? Is what we sense all there is? Has the "god" of evolution cheated naïve people of a great portion of their existential life?"On the Origin and Survival of the Species" presents the case for God. It is not a refutation of Darwin but an apologetic for God. Creationists believe that God's abilities have been misappropriated; that since His role is Creator, which most have attributed to chance, then God is diminished.Regeneration implies generation. To be re-created, Christians must have been created. Without the creation, regeneration is foolishness and eternal life an opiate. Most people have been fed with evolution theory since they entered school. Within these pages is an opportunity to question what you have been taught. What is there to gain by examining the notion of creation? Perhaps peace, happiness, joy, and hope. Evolution offers no hope to extend what rational people want most - an eternal existence in Paradise.Even many Christians deny God as Creator yet expect Him to save them for eternity. Evolution theory has no Heaven in which to live eternally. Creationism is essential Christian doctrine. For God to save, there must be God. By definition, god's create, and if truly a God, only One is needed.
