Publisher's Synopsis
The "On Track With Maths" intermediate phase series aims to solve the challenge of continuous outcomes-based assessment. In this series assessment activities are flagged as checkpoints in the learner's guide; the teacher's guide specifies the mathematical literacy, mathematics and mathematical sciences specific outcomes and assessment criteria (MLMMS SO-ACs) being assessed, and the assessment rubric for each checkpoint; a photocopiable checkpoint assessment portfolio is provided in the teacher's guide where the checkpoint assessments can be recorded. This will ultimately give an overall picture of a learner's competence in the MLMMS SO-ACs.
