This book tells how God took a person with a phlegmatic personality and shaded and mold her into one ready for use in His kingdom. One must understand the characteristic of a phlegmatic and then they know it was nobody but God himself who was working in the life of this phlegmatic. Of the four temperaments a phlegmatic, is the one that are considered as indecisive, and submissive. Phlegmatic characteristic is considered submissive because do not act as if they are better than others. They are eager to please others, and quick to give in to others demand. Conflict terrifies them and they will not provoke others into conflicts. When a phlegmatic is forced into an argument, they get become distressed and try to find escape instead of some kind victory. A Phlegmatic person will admit that they are wrong even if they are not to prevent hostility. They are of low self-esteem therefore they do not feel they know best. A person with this temperament find themselves putting others first and many times sacrifice their own happiness to make sure others are happy. They try not to bother others and always put others first. They are quick to apologize whether right or wrong and will sacrifice their own happiness to make sure others are happy. A phlegmatic are treated as if they are other's doormat which leaves them having no problem not being around people. Because they are submissive, they have difficulty saying no and will go along with things they dislike to make others happy. They make an effort to do their best on jobs because it terrifies them doing things wrong. They can be found blaming themselves if a mistake is made even if it is someone else's fault. Even though a phlegmatic is considered submissive and indecisive they are also considered as exceptionally trustworthy. If they make a promise they do all within their power to keep it. Having others to make decision for them is the way of the phlegmatic unless they are pressured into making a decision themselves. This
