In addition to this gift of money, we urge upon our ministers and lay people that the real object of the school is the preparation of men for the ministry. And, while the instruction given at Meadville was never higher than at present, the number of students in the school is not as large as the facilities offered to young men entering the ministry of our churches ought to invite.
