The year is 1759, London. Shakespeare's new estate is set on fire by Reverend Francis Gastrell, a man removed from history and his act of rebellion, covered by a sorry excuse.
History repeats itself, almost 250 years later, when Luna Gastrell stands in turmoil due to her ever-simple and already-known ancestry taking a sinister turn.
Luna realizes that there are many things she is ignorant of, including her connection with Lucier Hayden and Alastor Rhodus Morais, towards both of whom she feels an unexplainable affinity.
