When Lyrical's family sells her to slavers, she expects the worst. But demon wolves attack the slavers' cart, freeing her to run into the forest, where she discovers a mysterious castle surrounded by a garden maze. Two cursed brothers inhabit the castle and its grounds. Both are monstrous in form, as well as damaged and dangerous at heart. And both are intent on claiming her.
