The Family Davis at glimpse with their features are of pure white race. The purity of their roots they successfully projected to the society but actually they lived in hypocrisy because the matriarch Emma was brown, a Filipina. Emma suffered Dementia/Alzheimer and had written letters to Heaven. The letters shook and turned the lives of the family upside down, awaken their feeling of guilts. They learned their lives was based on lies of Emma more than their own lies denying Emma as their descent.
