This book "Nutshells, Award of Damages and Equitable Remedies in Ghanaian Courts" is very simplified and easy to understand. It deals with how damages and equitable remedies are to be awarded in our courts. The book offers in-depth knowledge on the subject areas discussed therein. Areas under damages include principles and measure of damages, types of damages and how damages are to be awarded under a breach of contract and in torts. Damages for unlawful dismissal, seduction, malicious prosecution, infringement of copyright and goods etc have been discussed in this book. Under equitable remedies, specific performance, injunction, rectification and rescission have also been dealt with in this book. This is the first of its kind in our legal education in Ghana.
