Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Numerical Design of Transonic Cascades
The method developed by Bauer, Garabedian, and Korn [2] for the design of wing sections which exhibit shock-free flow at high subsonic speeds has been applied to the problem of cascade design. A cascade is a periodic dis tribution of two dimensional blade cross sections which serves as a basis for the design of axial flow compressors and turbines.
