With reference to Bengal Government letter N o. 1236, General, (education), dated the 5th April, to your address, conveying the sanc tion of the Government of India to the continuation of the grant for the conservation of Sanskrit mss., up to 3lst March, 1895, I beg to submit the following report of the Operations in search of Sanskrit mss. For the last three years, and request that you will kindly lay it before the Council of the Asiatic Society.
