Your mode of proceeding is a clear invasion of my patent, which will prove to a certain extent successful in saving a large portion of oil, and in keeping the bearings cool, but the advantages will fall short of what would have been experienced if you had adopted the entire improvement; and it subjects my interests to corresponding injury.
