Non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes and chronic respiratory illness are the world's leading causes of death. Four modifiable risk factors are largely responsible for these diseases: tobacco use, unhealthy diet, lack of physical activity and harmful use of alcohol.
