Publisher's Synopsis
Why was the NGN Examination Created?
Assessing the clinical judgment of entry-level nurses has become increasingly important as the healthcare industry continues to evolve. While the traditional NCLEX exam primarily assessed knowledge and skills, the NGN exam aims to better assess critical thinking and caregiving decision-making. The need for nurses to be able to adapt to new technologies and treatments is reflected in this shift in focus, which is in line with the shifting requirements of the healthcare industry.
