Publisher's Synopsis
When a man's body is found on Fanoe Island, lying in a pool of blood on the tiled floor of his kitchen, the whole town is horrified. Reporter Emma Frost's stomach twists when she finds out the name of the dead man is Ulrik Larsen. She has heard that name before. Hands trembling, she pulls down the box of old, fraying letters hidden in her attic. All are signed in cursive blue ink from Ulrik's mother, writing about her precious newborn baby. Before Emma can dig into why these letters are in her home, her daughter is sent a chilling email with instructions to go to a mysterious address if she wants to see a dead body. Is this a twisted joke, or a message from a murderer?
