Das vorliegende Produkt ist ein Simulationsprogramm fr Kardiologen, um die Wirkung von Antiarrhythmika graphisch darzustellen und zu testen. Es besteht aus einer Broschre in deutscher und englischer Sprache und einer Diskette. Das Programm erlaubt, reale EKG-Daten simulierten Modellen als Referenz gegenberzustellen. The application of antiarrhythmic drugs has been under discussion for a long time. Their performance depends on a complex set of parameters. The knowledge of these parameters and their relationship to each other is of utmost importance to the scientist and cardiologist. This new product of Springer-Verlag, a combination of floppy-disk and booklet, provides a software program that lets the user simulate and visualize the results of antiarrhythmic drug application under various conditions. The program also allows to compare real EKG-data to a reference set of simulated models. A booklet provides an introduction into the topic as well as a hands-on introduction into the use of the program.
