During the past year many local societies have been organized under the auspices of the association and preventive measures have been stimulated in many places through its indirect if not direct in?uence. The mere existence of the National Associa tion for the Study and Prevention of Tuberculosis, carrying on its roll the most prominent workers in the cause throughout the country.
