Publisher's Synopsis
Naoma Kelsey was the seventh child born to Fred and Cora Kelsey in White Dale, MI (Doyle Township). She had one younger sister. Naoma was raised in the country and was no stranger to farm life, but grew up in the city. A few years after her two children were born she boarded a train to Detroit to join her husband Vern who had moved there a few months earlier to take a job with the Packard Motor Company. That was Mother's Day, 1942. From that day forward her life would never be the same.
