Publisher's Synopsis
New Cambridge Mathematics aims to provide stimulating materials for young children that will help them become confident and successful at mathematics. The activities are designed to be used with the range of ability and development found in primary classrooms, to support national curricula throughout the UK and to be interesting and fun. Module 2 is for children aged 5 to 6. The core of the materials is this Teacher's resource book, which outlines activities that teachers can use to introduce all the mathematics the children need to cover. These include support activities for children who need more basic work and consolidation, extension activities for those who need more demanding work, and review activities, as well as suggestions for mental work and for the use of play in developing mathematical understanding.
