When my husband was terminally ill in 2000 I put my feelings in verse on paper. When my husband died, I again found solace and release in writing. As I now share these thoughts and feelings with others, I hope they might find some solace, too. She was born 47 years ago in Amsterdam, but from her 10th year she lived in Duurstede. In 1981, she met her husband and they were married in 1984. The marriage was enriched with two children, a son and a daughter who are grown. In 2000 she lost her husband to cancer. Now she is married again to a very sweet man.
