In 2012, in the small Midwestern river town of Northfield, MN an 18-year old girl was self- proclaiming it the year of herself-Ashley Monroe. Deciding to come out of her shell of shyness, she was going to live her senior year to the fullest. Amongst those plans to break out of her shell-the most crucial plan being-telling her best friend, Ryan Black, her intimate feelings for him in hopes he will love her back.
Unexpectedly, life has thrown a big hurdle into Ashley's carefully planned-out life. With plans to move to California with Ryan and her best friend after graduation now crushed, she needs to decide whether to confess her feelings to Ryan before he moves away without her. Not knowing what the outcome of that confession might bring, both in love and friendship. Will Ashley confess? What does the future hold for Ashley and Ryan?
