This book is meant as a complete theoretical material on Wave Motion and Sound for entrance examinations like IIT-JEE (mains and advanced, both), NEET, AIIMS, BITSAT etc. It covers all the concepts on the topic that are required to solve the questions that have been asked in these examinations for over last 40 years. It contains ample theory and in text exercises that make the readers able to solve any question thrown at them in these exams. The matter consists of what I have been teaching to my students to get them through entrance exams. I have tried to inculcate 25 years of my experience in coaching field in this series of books (more on the way). Besides entrance exams this book also serves the purpose of introducing wave motion to a newbie. Anyone with the knowledge of basic vector mathematics and calculus can easily go through the book and learn this topic. Even if the purpose is just to gain knowledge, this book is one of the best tested ways to go.
